  4. Competition procedure
The competition documents will be made available at www.bridge-online.de. The closing date for entries is 1.6.2024, 23:59. Entries received after this time will not be considered. Only complete entries will take part in the competition. Participants will receive a confirmation of receipt by email. An independent jury with representatives from business and science will select the winners. If there is a high level of participation in the competition, the organiser will make a preliminary selection. The members of the jury will receive the submitted entry documents with the explicit instruction that they are to be treated confidentially.
  5. Data protection
All information collected in the context of the competition will be treated confidentially. It is necessary for the running of the competition that the institutions that are organised in BRIDGE store and process all submitted data. The data will also be stored after the competition and used by BRIDGE – for example for invitations to further events. An overview of the stored data can be requested by post at any time and the further use of the data can be objected to. If this objection is made during the competition, it is considered to be a withdrawal of the application. The competition entries will also be made available to the jury members and necessary service providers for the handling of the competition. The data provided will be treated confidentially by the jury members and service providers and will be deleted after the competition has ended. The competition entries that reach the final will be presented via BRIDGE’s marketing channels and at the award ceremony. When publishing abstracts of the entries as part of the competition, the submitted data may be used by BRIDGE and also transmitted to third parties for this purpose. It is agreed that by submitting the competition documents, the participants transfer all usage rights to recordings during the competition to the organisers free of charge and without a time limit. Furthermore, the data protection regulations of the University of Bremen apply.
